 Forum Discount Group Purchases ??
Greetings. I am wondering if anyone has looked into approaching the vendors for the popular parts we have been discussing in this forum. Items like the ducktail spoilers, sequential taillights, and plenium covers come to mind. I used to visit a website for (gasp!!!) Camaro's when I owned one and they were always arranging group discounts for popular parts, 20% off seemed to be the usual discount for our bulk business. If enough people are into this we could save some significant bucks.
If there is enough interest in this approach we would need to find someone who is well aquainted with the aftermarket business and well spoken to act as our rep to approach these various vendors. Other than that it's just a matter of starting a sticky thread for each part we are looking at getting so that we can get a count on the numbers of peep's interested in each part.
