The one picture in the front looks like you have smoked covers on your head lights? Did you do that or is that just the way the picture turned out.
Oh, by the way.....it looks like somebody just used some tireshine before that picture was taken...I should call myself MONK. (looking at pointless things, oh yeah your trash if full you had better take that out to the street)
No seriously, nice outcome with the tint |
Thanks. I do not have tinted covers on the headlights...must just be all the other black. I read something about a set of covers that is black in the daytime, but they change to clear at night. I'm going to track that discussion down and find out what the deal is with that.
Definitely just did the wheel shine. I need to ditch the spray bottle for a tireshine sponge though. The bottle makes a mess.
I'll get to work on the trashcan though! :thumbsup
bill_brenda: I can assure you, this car is worth the wait. You won't be sorry. It'll probably just mean that much more to you once you have it.
eyelleye: 50% is the limit in Ohio, but I went with 30%. I've seen countless tints around here that were much darker. I'm kind of playing the odds a little, but I figure if the local police grade on a bell curve, I'm just above passing

I think our police are pretty reasonable too. They tend not to mess with people that don't earn it. It's the troopers I worry about. My brother used to be a deputy sherrif near here, and I asked him about it. He said he never gave a damn about tint. He wanted the red-light/stop sign/100mph drivers. He also said if he saw tint that was obviously outside the limits, he'd tell them they had to change it, but he never documented re:ticketed for it.
Thanks for the positive comments. Wish I could take credit for making that car look the way it does, but "Big Thanks" to Ford and the Mustang design team for that.
I'm really anxious to start the personalization stuff on this car. Stripes, Interior, Lowering, etc..
