Default Traction Control Works!

This evening I was traveling through Oil City Pennsylvania on Rt8 going north when I decided to really open up my Mustang on what seemed to be a long straight section of road.

My 4.0 did not argue and really took off when to my surprise came a nasty nasty bend that I was going to fast to make. I do not know how I did not see this but I didn't. As my Mustang started to go through the turn I could feel it was starting to push off of the road and losing traction. Before I could even make a manual correction the Traction Control System kicked in and corrected the course of my car. With out the TCS it would have been a tough recovery to make it thorugh the turn without incident. I mean I really came into the turn quite heavy and she made it.

Oh Momma that was something and I do not want to do it again.

TCS WORKS!

I turn my traction control off every time I get in my car, after having 4,I'm so used to the push, when it doesn't push it screws me up.and I hate when you take off and it interupts it,especially when I jam second and it let's out that tiny "chirp", glad it works for some though!

I agree. I have the 4.0 too, with a manual. I've found it helps me out when I don't notice sand or water in the road and I'm into the throttle. I can still lay some rubber and break the tires between 1st and 2nd with it on. What gets me is the rpm limiter. When I'm not paying attention to the tach and just enjoying the acceleration, the engine just poops out when it kicks in.
