This is my first new car, so bear with me. I just want to ask a question before I call my dealer.

I've had Iris for 3 months and I noticed a small paint defect on the inside of the driver's side door. Is this the type of thing that's covered under warranty? What can be done to fix it? Any advice?

What type of paint defect? I had some "trash" under the paint and clear coat on my hood. The hood had to be repainted and tht was covered under warranty.

There's a small place where the paint has chipped off.

That is probably going to depend on your relationship with your dealer. In 3 months a lot of rock/parking lot chips can occur.
