Exclamation anyone know what fuse to pull for the radio or how to disconnect the battery?

Guys,

I need help bad. My radio froze. It will not shut off even when I shut off the car. I am afraid it will drain the battery. I have the shaker 1000. I pulled the radio fuse in the passenger's side panel and it did nothing. The owners manual said this fuse is for radio start. Maybe it is the wrong one. I know their are more fuses under the hood, but I hope if I disconnect the battery it will reset everything. I tried to disconnect it though and I couldnt get the bolts to budge. I have bad tools but they wouldnt move. Any suggestions?

Thanks

I recall reading that the fuse for the Shaker radio was in the main fuse box under the hood. I'm pretty sure the fuse for at least one of the amps are there. You might want to double-check the owners manual for info on the main fuse box.

I'ev disconnected the battery several times and making some mods and other "resets" I wanted - but you do not loose your radio stations or anything like that - although I did only disconnect the ground and not the power lead.

If none of the power resets you mentioned above work I suggest you take it back to the dealer. Since their is already a know problem with the Shaker 1000/500 this might be another to add to the growing list of aggravating problems.

Cool

The owners manual lists all of the fuses, locations and functions. Disconnecting the battery will do it but it will also reset the powertrain control module and auto transmission. Take it to the dealer.
