You will not get ANY RWHP gains over the stock axle backs, with any other axle backs alone, I doubt even if you cut the pipes open prior to the axle. The gains are in the X-pipe, long tube headers, and then catless if you can get away with no emissions. I am hearing long tubes are very loud over 3000 rpm. Anybody done the JBA or Stainless works long tubes? I hear you can get up to 20 RWHP/ RWTQ with those and X-pipe. A bit of a tradeoff with noise for 20 HP.

I am curious if anybody has added only the X-pipe to the stock manifolds and cats and had a dyno.

Corsa is overpriced but, if you like the sound...

I installed Corsa axle-backs last week on my 2006 GT and dynoed - no gain or loss...A/F remained at 13.1.

I just installed the Corsa X-Pipe. I will be on the dyno tomorrow. It is my understanding that the RWHP/TQ claimed to be gained by Corsa really comes from the Corsa x-pipe.

Corsa says that the stock H-Pipe on the GT does not cross the flow over at 3000 RPMS and above which causes a restriction. Whereas their X-Pipe doesn't have that problem and actually inceases flow by 40%.

We'll see tomorrow.
