Has anyone removed thier cats on thier 05 GT and still have the stock manifolds/headers (whatever they're called).

If so, did the check-engine light come on and how do you turn them off or do you just have to deal with it once they are on?

Also, does it require a re-tune?

I have.

The check engine light came on after about 100 miles after installation.

As far as I know, it shouldn't require a tune.

What did you do with your oxygen sensors? Without a valid post cat reading the fuel trim would be out. How's it run?

I just plugged the O2 sensors back into the new piping. Seems to run fine.

I've got the Bassani off road x-pipe, probably around 600 miles on it now and no light.

Can't tell you about the tune because I installed the mmr "cold-air" cone filter at the same time which required the tune.
