Took the car in yesterday and they put a new unit on.. it has a diff part number and is a diff color. The selonoid is in a diff location also. Look under your rear bumper-the old unit was black and the selonoid was on the left side. I would open my garage door in the morning and the gas fumes were very strong. Had the new gas tank put on two weeks ago and have the same problem(filling up). Head mech at dealer said the fuel filler tube is shaped like a sink trap near the tank so gas fills this and is not forced into tank. Ford still working on this problem..the parts are in for the front end poping noise and they will be put on next wed. No problems with my Shaker 500-had one disk kick out-blew moist air on it-wiped it off and put back in-no problems.
