Exclamation Factory Alarm goes off for no reason

I just took my 05 Stang GT to the dealership to diagnose my alarm system which tends to go off while sitting in my parking lot at work sometimes 2-3 times a day. Annoying... Of course there systems checked out fine...

Also when I been driving I'll randomly get an open door light error. I think the 2 issues are linked. And that I have a sensor that's too sensitive!

I also had the front end popping and the fuel filler issue - parts are now on order.

Anyone else having the same issue?

I know that interior motion sensors can set the alarm off due to pressure changes caused by heat. The motion sensor's sensitivity will need to be turned down, but you might have to make a compromise if you want the motion sensor to be effective.

I had the same problem for the better part of a day. It turned out that my trunk was not completely shut. I'd suggest checking that all doors, windows, hood and trunk are firmly shut. If that doesn't help, maybe you should speed down to the dealer for a bit of help. By "speed" I mean drive fast. Drive real fast!

Turns out I had a bad switch in the trunk that caused a door open error while driving and the alarm going off for no reason. Just FYI - also had struts replaced for popping noise and new gas tank for fuel filler prob.

All happy now!
