 Whistling from interior vents at speed

I couldn't find any mention of this issue here. I'm taking it in to service for a look, but if anyone has any extra info, it'll help.
The bottom line is, with the heater/AC off and the 'outside air' off and windows up -- I hear a high-pitched whistle from the vicinity of the windshield or defroster vents at highway speeds. If I flip the 'outside air' vents open the whistling stops. Close 'em again and the sound comes right back.
It sure seems like the vents don't close/seal all the way.
