Default Forced Induction on an '05 or newer Mustang

Hi,
I'm new to this place but plan on sticking around. Does anyone have, or know of anyone who has, installed a blower or turbocharger on a new Mustang?

I'm just looking for ideas really. I have a blown F150 and am planning for my next project (Mustang of course!)

I believe that ProCharger is selling a kit for the '05 Mustang but I'm really interested in trying the turbo route this time. Anyone have any suggestions of where to start?

Thanks!

www.ultimate-racing.com has a twin turbo system coming out

I will be installing my Vortech supercharger on my 05 in a week or so.I have personally seen 3 05's with the vortech kit on them and they are very nice and the drivability is excellent from what I have seen and heard.

Sweet! I love the ProCharger on my truck. I'm sure it'll have even more of an effect on a Mustang. I'm considering the ProCharger route since I'm familiar with them but am really interested in the turbo route.

Where did you purchase the ProCharger from? Are you doing fuel mods or any other mods, too?

I emailed Ultimate Racing about their Mustang kit and they replied that they were having tuning difficulties but told me they would keep me informed on the progress. If that becomes available, depending on pricing, I think I would lean toward them.

Thanks for the replies!

I'm interested in getting a supercharger for the GT, so please tell me how your superchargers work out.
Thanks

Check out the August edtion of 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords. On page 93 is a write up on Kenne Bell super charging a 05. They plan to sell a kit that will come with a tune to match the SC you install. The install is clean and the SC is on top of the engine rather then in front.

The performance shop I use ordered it from ATI. I dropped the car off Saturday morning and we opened the kit up then. After I got done drooling over the blower (its polished so it wiped right off!), we talked about the install. I could install this myself, but since he's got a dyno and the experience to go with it, I'll pay for a pro to do it. The big focus over the next few days will be the tune. We also decided to replace the stock fuel pump since this appears to be a concern at higher rpm. It may not be really necessary but a few hundred more to ensure no issues was worth it for my piece of mind.

you might try a search of these forums, I recall reading someone listing 3 companies doing a turbo for the 05.
