Default Front Suspension TSB - Parts Availablity

Greetings All:

My 05 V6 was blessed with all of the usual suspects (Shaker, Front End Pop, Gas Tank). The replacement Shaker is on the shelf at the dealer, waiting on the parts for the front end. It has been four weeks. Is the demand so high for these parts they are taking this long. Any similar occurances?

Thanks!

Oh jeeze!! Don't get me started on this one. I will be taking my GT in for the front suspension problem for the 4th damn time once the parts ever show up - between Ford's complete disdain for the customer, and unfortunately having a completely inept service department at my dealership, I've been screaming over this and the stereo problem for the 8 months I have had my car. I am now up to 8 trips to the dealership in 8 months - the problems are usually the same but I have YET to have them fix any problem the first time in.

On my last appointment I called them 3 weeks before to schedule it and tell them about both TSBs for the front and the CD player - they did not bother to even TRY and order the parts until the day I showed up, and then "gee, we can't seem to get them!" Hey idiots - why do you think I told you three weeks ago!?!?!?! Of course I started all of this several months ago but I guess it takes constant repition to drumb it into their empty heads. That's the LAST time I bring a dozen Kripsy Kreme donuts to the service guys - I am nice to them, and they f*** me!
Okay, time for Scotch....
