well freeflubber the hinge is hidden in the fender i do have a pic and will post it when the upload on this site starts to work. and it is not hard to get in and out. you can open the door like a regular door, i would say compared to stock you can open it to like 80 percent the way which is what you normally open the door then from there its up to you if you want the door to go up you lift it if not then you just use it like you normally would . the door is as heavy as a gallon of milk to lift . and to go down it just take a little push and your door goes down. the actual hinge is 3/8 in thick steel which is alot stronger than stock ones. this thing is very cool everywhere ive gone in the last few days it has been the head turner.

well they dont make a straight bolt on kit for our cars there is 1 company kit and more or something like that , they have a bolt on kit but the kit open full way out and dosnt go up as high it looks kinda silly. this kit was a decah kit and it was for a bmw m5 the shop that i took it to redid the holes on the hinge to make it bolt on. the only thing that they have to do to the car is cut a small lip on the inner fender . the install took 2 days. and it would cost about $2500 for everything installed . with a 2 year warranty and they dont have to cut your door wiring either, the existing wiring has enought slack to make it all the way up. this was a truly diffrent mod. i guess ill be the first one to have it for a while. ill post close ups of the hinge once i can get this sites upload working again
