Default Anyone hear clutch rattle - 1st gear?

I tried searching for other posts on this subject but didn't find any...

When I am just starting out in 1st gear, as I let the clutch out I hear a rattling noise... almost "clacking" Anyone else hear this? Doesn't sound like any manual I've ever owned before.

When I'm pulling into the garage, it seems the loudest.
Any ideas?

You guys may have an adjustment problem. Mine is as smooth as silk, in fact it's the smoothest clutch, transmission and engine combination I've ever had. I'd takemy car in for a checkup, me thinks.

All that I've heard, and most that I've talked to have the same 'grinding' sounds from the tranny. I would actually be more worried if a Stang tranny was quiet...

I got to agree, I've posted before, my stick is smooth as butter and I have no complaints, quiet and tight imo. If I were you, I'd take it in to the dealer.

mine were missing and when the car was started cold or sometimes when lugging in first gear it buzzed and rattled very loudly.

had it fixed when I got a new fuel tank and no more noise.

the throwout bearing may make noise when in nutral and the clutch is disengaged.
