Man, i just did half my spoiler in the new NXT tech wax, and the other half in the Meguiar's Gold Class wax, and I couldn't believe the difference! The NXT side was silky smooth and shinier than the Gold Class side. I had heard good things about it but couldnt believe it would be this drastic. I can't wait to use this stuff on the whole car!
yeah that stuff goes on and wipes off easy; seems to last well too. i just got some of the nxt tech quik wax for maintenance between full fledged waxing. been using the regular quik wax before and it gives a quick shine boost. HTH
After reading other posts on this list I decided to try the Maguires nxt car wax and have to admit I was pleasantly supprised. It made the car look great, but on a new car I rather expected that. Where it really made a difference was on my 2000 F-150. I kept the truck garaged (it has since been relegated to the driveway - with a car cover) and since I work out of my home it was mostly inside, but I'll be darned if it didn't make the color deeper.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.
I've used both the nxt and the gold. Both go on and come off easy. The nxt does seem to have a better shine. I needed to rewax only 8 weeks after putting the gold on in Jan but that may have been because I have to wash her every three days. (The pollen sucks in Alabama and I don't have a garage!!!!) So I rewaxed just yesterday with the nxt and I'll be making a note of how long I need to go before rewaxing. Lasting power will be key for me.

After using the NXT wax or Gold try using the Meguiars cleaner polish( its a very mild liquid rubbing compound) at least once a year to strip off the wax build up,then re-apply the NXT.Its great stuff.
NXT is better than 95% of the stuff out there.
Want better & easier? Try Waxing Frenzy http://www.geoffreybodinefrenzy.com/
Better shine than NXT! Have tried both.
Here is a pic of Frenzy on my white GT. As you know, white is a difficult color to get a shine out of. I think the pics speak for themself.

I just got the Gold wax and haven't used it. Should I have gotten the NXT?
Not necessarily. It depends on your goals. Gold class is carnuba based. So I think it lasts longer on the car and might have a better shine. But the NXT Tech wax will protect your car better since it's a synthetic polymer.
Found sometihng like that on MEguiars.com but I can't remember exactly how the site phrased it.

I used both and then switched over to Zaino. If you haven't tried them I would recommend it. They last and are real easy to work with. My car is a daily driver and the weather here gets pretty nasty real quick.
You can only get it on-line, Zaino.com. Fast shipping also.

And lots of other stuff too
The more I look around this website, the more useful information I find ! I've used the Gold Class for years.....just picked up some NXT and wondered if it was a smart purchase. It would appear that it was! Thanks to all for the helpful information and tips!!!:thumbsup
You should really try Frenzy!!
I have tried tons of products. Here is a small sampling of what is in my garage. I used to write a detailing column, trust my findings.
Listed in order of best shine:
Frenzy
Platinum Ultimate Paint protection
Blackfire all finish
Zaino Z2,Z5,Z8
Rejex
Poor Boys EX-P
S100
Mequirs NXT
Wet
Wolfgang paint sealant
Vanilla Moose
Menzerna FMJ
Klasse All in One
One Grand Blitz wax
P21S
Pinacle Paste Glaz
However for a red car: Ally a few coats of Blackfire and top with platinum Ultimate Paint protection. It will look SO deep - you could almost go swimming in it. (of course the whole key to proper shine is the prep)
