Due to an unfortunate incident I bent my stock one pretty bad. I am replacing it with the BMR one. It is adjustable. I don't think the Steeda one is.

either one is good as they both make quality products. I am installing the steeda one only because the rest of my suspension components are steeda.

yes pretty please do, and what do the lca's do. why did you get them, and how do you like the sway bars. you think your set up is better than the eibach stuff.

and is the steeda panhead bar adjustable

You can get the Steeda or BMR in a fixed lenght or adjustable. If you're lowering the car, you will need an adjustable one. I've "heard", but don't know first-hand, that the BMR one can be adjusted while on the car and the Steeda one has to be taken off to adjust.

here is a couple of angles..I think the eibach stuff is just as good as the steeda springs. The Lower control arms (Lca's) help plant the car better under hard cornering and hard launches.

Hi 05GTSilver,

I have a lot of experience with high performance auto suspension and I'm not shy about using this knowledge on my street cars. I'm using Eibach springs and have a Steeda rear panhard bar and HD panhard bar brace installed. I put the rear end and then the front end of my car up on a pair of jack stands and crawled under the car to get a good look at the stock suspension and any braces Ford installed at the Flat Rock plant. In looking at the rear end, the stock panhard bar has a thin stamped brace to support the chassis side panhard bar mounting point. That stock brace is thin and flexible so when I installed the Steeda panhard bar I yanked out the stock stamping and installed the Steeda HD panhard brace, well worth the $70 IMO. Oh, BTW the Steeda Panhard bar is adjustable and it can be adjusted with one end still in the car. The BMR is adjustable with the links still in the car. The other major weakness in the rear of the '05 GT (I have not looked at the V-6), are the very soft lower control arm bushings and the stamped steel arms. The arms wold probably be O.K. but if you are going to get better bushings you probaly will also need better arms that don't fles or distort under stress lik the stock one do. Non-adjustable lower arms are fine for a street driven car but for a track car you may appreciate the adjustable arms and the adjustable upper control arm if you run the strip more than the road courses. The only other possible problems in the front are in the area of the strut towers and the A-arm mounting points. I used a Steeda G-Trac brace to support the back of the A-arm pickup points on the chassis side and am still lookig at the strut tower braces out there before I install one.. Both BRM and Steeda have these parts, remember, simpler that fits under the hood is better. I only bought the Steeda because the BMR stuff was harder for me to get and cost more. I had easy access to the Steeda parts so that is what I bought, both are well made parts.

HTH
