Parts for my car finally came in after 8 weeks. They originally said two weeks and it would only take couple hours to fix. Now they are saying they would like me to drop it off because it may take up to 6 hours, i am thinking i will have them put mileage on the ticket and an order not to drive more than 2 miles without the owner present. Not sure if they will do it or not but i dont like the idea of leaving my car with them for that long, sounds like joyrides for everyone in the shop. Hate ford service.

ok...I have no idea what ya'll are talking about. I have read every post trying to help myself out, but now I am just confused.
I have a 4.0L stk. When i shift and let off the gas, i hear a pop. I thought it was just like the A/C clutch or something like that. Is it something serious? try not to use any codes or anything. I work at a repair shop so I do know some terminology. lol. appreciate the help!

ok it only took like 2 and a half hours, verified mileage with service tech, wrote NO TEST DRIVE in big letters on the ticket, then verified mileage out. I am satified now, no more popping when i turn. Good luck to the rest of ya waiting, hang in there.

I'm still waiting here for the isolators ??. A test drive for putting these parts in is like going to the doctor for a sore throat and she tells you to drop your pants :thumbsup I can't wait for those parts!!
I think you guys are getting hosed. My ford dealer ordered my parts for the front struts, they came in a week later and today, I took my car up to the dealership at 7:00AM and got my car back at 10:00AM.

Yes indeed, I feel I've been hosed over more times than a 5¢ you know what a blind mans convention w/ the whole Ford Mustang ordering fiacso no info. waiting in vain for your car to come in. Now waiting for these f-ing plastic crap parts so your car doesn't sound like a box of mexican jumping beans in the hot sun. man that felt good. What a joke … I'm not laughing anymore.
Just got my car back finally. It was there for 7 hours. I went over it like a fly on S>>T. Everything looks good and I took to it. No popping at all. I got home and opened the hood. The passenger side strut top is not in the center. It's way over almost touching the side of the opening. The drivers side is right in the middle. I called the service dept. to inquire about it, but they're gone. Anyone care to giver an opinion. Thanks!!
