Default popping noise in front end

I have had a popping noise in my front end when I am backing up or turning into a parking spot. What is it? Is Ford fixing the problem?

USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION

For the love of god, use the search function. This question has been asked/answered at least two dozen times.

I read in a french forum that noise coming from the
top of the coil spring. this one turn just a bit when
you turn the steering and it's make a pop noise.
They fix the problem with some grease.
They lubricate the extremity of the coil spring and no more noise!
You can that !

man, do i hope you are kidding. there is a Ford TSB out on this showing a replacement of suspension components to fix the problem. There are 140+ threads on this topic just on this forum alone.

I don't mean to be rude, but if you look at the search results, you'll see that this question routinely pops (rimshot!) up. A simple search on this forum can answer 99% of questions that come up.

Ever broken a bone and wore a cast? About 10 weeks into it, you get REALLLL tired of people asking what happened. That's what this is like, especially for those who have been waiting for parts to fix this for weeks, and in some cases months.

Anyway, didn't mean to be rude. Unfortunately, 'humorous sarcasm' is not a font, and sometimes hard to detect.. Welcome to the forum, and good luck with your car. Call your dealer with the TSB # (you can find it in the sticky at the top of the forum) and have them order your parts.

Hate to be or sound stupid, but I am not a computer guy. I am lucky I can figure out how to do this. What is a sticky on top of the page. I am taking my car in this week, so if I had some more info it would be great Thanks for the help!

a sticky is a thread that always appears at the top of the page, regardless of when the last post was. You'll notice that as a topic is not posted to, it gets lower and lower on the list, until it disappears to page two, three, etc....

look at the top of the main forum page, and you'll find a thread that says "Two New TSB's for 05 GT Mustang". Within it, you'll find the TSB # that your dealer can use.
