Default new shaker problem?

I drive to work listening to a store bought CD. When I get to work and leave my car, I'm in the the middle of Track 4.

Lunch comes around and when I get back in the 'Stang, the CD "reloads" and it starts at Track 1 instead of resuming where it left off (in the middle of track 4). It goes back to the beginning of the CD I was playing before I left the car.

I've had the car for about two weeks and I've seen this happen to me maybe four or five times. It happens when there's only one CD in the player and it also happens when there are multiple CDs in. I have the Shaker 500. This has happened with different CDs as well.

Has anyone else had this happen before?

I had the first skipper 500 replaced because my CD's got stuck in it. The second skipper 500 I got it would do the exact same thing yours did. I was so fed up with it that I replaced it with the eclipse 5435.

All things considered, I guess I would rather have it "reset" than skip.

Although, I've had it skip from time to time.
