Furthermore, should i stay with the factory H-Pipe or should i go for the X-Pipes? Wat company has good x-pipe and will changing H-Pipe void my warranty?

Thanks bro...2 questions:
1) Will i be voiding my warranty with any of those mods?
2) Will i need to retune/flash my car?

Thanks!!

Kooks? i've never really heard of that company. Do you recommend kooks x-pipe over the x-pipe of magnaflow?

With just cat backs only (actually from the stock H-pipe back to tips) you will not void warrantly nor need reflash.

With Long Tube headers and an X-pipe you will need a flash tuner.
Remember, a reflash is just getting "more fuel" in many cases like this one, you are going to be getting "more air" and need to keep the stoich on par.

You will have no more Ford warranty on any exhaust applications but, you will NOT void your drivetrain, engine, etc.

My Borla's came with 1 million mile warranty. I already had them send me brand new ones as one was rattling.

Go here for Kooks info;

http://www.kookscustomheaders.com/

Since 1962 they have been in the PRO game.

Bassani makes a great X-pipe too. I just went with the Kooks after many months of research and I ordered them from JDM Engineering. They are specialists in Mustang, Cobra and Lightning Fords.

thanks so much for your help bro....however, i have a few more questions:

1) what CAI would you recommend (performance wise)?

2) Is it okay if i buy this exhaust combo in 2 parts? I mean, you think it's going to be okay if i buy and install borla cat-back system first, then a few months later i decide to go buy and install the X-pipe with headers? or should i buy and install the whole combo at once?

3) im going more of the sound (more deep, than NOISY! I hate SLP!) and appearance rather than performance, with that in mind would you recommend the same set-up cuz your set-up is really pricey.....will cost me well over 2 grand?

1) Everyone always says THEIR mods are the best. I will not do this. What I will tell you is that my C&L will give as much and in some cases more than any other CAI's w/ tune as I have seen on 2005 Ponies. Match the CAI with a good tuner. XCALII and Predator are the 2 best for 2005 Ponies. I got 35 rwhp from C&L/ Predator on a proven dyno (plus Steeda under pullies), going from stock 265 rwhp to 300 rwhp.

2) Yes, you can add exhaust in pieces to fit your budget. Stainless Works, Kooks and JBA Long Tubes are all good products. The details of kits and instl are the differences. Kooks includes all gaskets, bolts, and O2 extensions, and the bottom row of bolts are slotted for ease of instl. You need not replace stock motor mounts on Kooks as you must on other LT's. The stiffer mounts give more vibration/ noise to cab and in some cases I hear people really didn't like the stiffer mounts.

3) I really like the sound. I am now more quieter than stock due to mello X-pipe allowing air to slip right out the smooth tubes. This stuff is not cheap. I took 7 months to do all my mods. Take your time and have no regrets. Don't "settle" just to get an unwanted mod done now.
Bassani X-pipe and cat backs are also good but, not sure any cheaper. Borlas are not cheap but, look, try to just buy the "axle back" part (muffler/ tips) of the kit. You do not need the entire "catback" pipes. There is nothing wrong with stock pipes from H-pipe back to axle overs. The dyno gave me no additional gains on the "unpinched" 2.5" pipes. You will save weight though.

Hope this helps. I am waiting to see what Kenne Bell offers to finalize my Supercharger decisions. I am quite happy with mods thus far. Only may do the Charge Motion Plate deletes next. Other than rebuilding internals, I am thinking I am good for a while.

I second what the two posters above me said. I have Bassani exhaust and I love the sound they make.

I like the American Thunder, Flowmaster. They sound a bit louder than the stock mufflers.

I've got the Ford Racing/Borlas on order from the dealer. Plus, my car club membership gets me a discount.
