is M1 a 3 or a 4?

Funny though how those "independant tests" are only ever found on AMSOIL-sponsored websites though.

As the old saying goes, read'em and weep!:thumbsup

Mobil One is a PAO certified FULL synthetic and only tests slightly behind the industry leader.....

Here is an interesting synthetic. You change it every 5 years or 50,000 miles and they warranty the engine for 10 years or 300,000 miles against any oil related failure, including piston ring wear. They also manufacturer permanent coolant, among other products.

Aside from some hearsay in the forums and links to AMSOIL-sponsored sites, I can't find any links on that site to independant, non-AMSOIL-sponsored analysis. I did, however, find instances of blatant lies spread by AMSOIL dealers and see AMSOIL's corporate back-pedaling as they condemed the dealer but steadfastly refused to take any action against the dealer. (http://theoildrop.server101.com/ubb/...=014279#000000) Try again.

To 65sohc: A warranty is only as good as the company behind it. There's no way a company that is using a generic FrontPage template for its website is going to be able to honor that 10 year, 300,000 mile warranty.
