Default M/T ET's ?????

I ran my car at the track for the first time since I installed the KB S/C. I was pretty upset with my traction limited et of 12.9958 @ 108.73mph. I was running nitto drag radials and they couldn't handle the 430rwhp. So I'm looking at the M/T ET Street 26x11.50-17LT for next time. The problem is I can't find anything wider than a 17x9 in rim for the 05+. Does anyone know if that would be wide enough for those tires or should I try something else all together. Your suggestions are very appreciated.

Thereis only one M/T dealer here in Germany, where I can get those drag tires, so please: could you give me exact specifications, meaning which tire and size for the original 8" stock rim?

Email these guys about your questions. They're one of two places in Michigan that do racing tires and wheels. I use to work for them, and i can say that they do a lot of custom fits! They will ship anywhere! Ask for Brian

I ran E/T Streets at FFW last year on 2 of my stock wheels - fit fine, hooked awesome!

This year I'm running Ultra Stang, which requires radials, so I got 2 E/T Street Drag Radials mounted on the other 2 stock wheels. Now I've got E/T Streets (non-radials) that only have one race weekend on them...

I had one beside me returning from a weekend trip. He tried to race me at a stop light. To my advantage the road was wet, so I was able to be faster. Shame for him was that I was driving my SRT-10 Viper Truck, 1 of only 3 in Germany. I think that guy at least still doesn´t know what happened to him. I t was fun, even though I know that under normal conditions I would have no chance. Lot of Porsche people send their children on the same private school as I do, I will have the Opportunity to test drive the car in June on their closed racing circuit here in Leipzig . But I think that after installing the Supercharger on my Mustang, I will also have a lot of fun.

I suggest using a smaller rim size, you get more out of your gears and you'll have an easier time finding drag tires (ET Streets, Hoosiers...etc)

I was able to squeeze out a 12.7 (Natrually Aspirated)

Mods:
Exhaust, Tune, Cold, Air & 4.10's + ET Streets launching @ 5,000rpm

I borrowed the slicks from a friend. They were mounted on V-6 stang wheels.
