Whenever I open my driver door all the way it squeaks really bad. You know how the door gently "bounces" a couple of inches as you're getting out? Well, it sounds like an old 1960s Chevy pickup...it's very annoying and embarassing!! The sound is coming from the upper door hinge and I've tried lubricating it without success. It didn't do this until a few weeks ago. Anyway, I thought I'd see if anyone else was having the same problem before I take it into the dealer.

Did you try the fix-all of everything WD-40.

I would try WD-40. If that won't fix it, you will probably have to replace the door...

My driver side door does the same thing

My driver's side mirror housing squeaks.
Could this be what's squeaking and not the door?
Anyone else have this problem?

Squeaks when you do what? Not sure how this could be confused with the door squeaking though.

Because it squeaks when the door is shut.

As well as when I'm pulling into my driveway which is paved with bricks. Very bumpy.

I think the problem may be temperature dependent. Because it's done this without exception for the last few weeks, which is when it started getting warm outside. When I drove it home from work last night at 2am, it was under 40 degrees outside and the door didn't squeak at all.

i have a similar squeak sounds like a old truck but my squeak is coming from what sounds like the rear seat area,,its driving me insane cant seem to locate it neither can dealer...ahhh

Well everyone, all it took was an afternoon drop-off at the dealership and they fixed the squeak. They told me they tightened the hinge up and it evidently did the trick. I hope it stays that way!!!
