Default A/C not blowing too cold?

Well, i live in Vegas and for everyone here in the Desert Southwest its already in the 100s and 100 teens this weekend and was wondering if anyone has noticed that their A/C is not blowing that cold. This is the first time I've used it really, and i was wondering maybe it need to be broken in? My work truck is a toyota and it blows freezing cold and its a 4 bannger. Any imputs would help if its just my car or others are experiencing this.

Sin,
i live in SoFla and it gets pretty hot here also, today on my way home from work 90 and it took ten minutes for it to blow cold. My car has been into the ford dealer 3 times for AC leaks, last time they said it was normal, seemed to cycle too frequently also, but my dealer said when its so hot it doesnt operate as efficently?
Dont know if this helps you but i feel your PAIN!

I hope it is not leaking already! That sucks! I guess if it persists, i will have to bring it back to the dealer. I have a 99' Toyota work truck and that damn thing blows like a freezer! I just wish my stang did the same. When it gets to the 100 teens, it sure makes a difference. I know you guys in florida get hot, but its your humidity factor that makes the A/C not operate as good either right? When its 90 there and 100% humid! now thats unbearable too.

It was 104 here in Chandler AZ today. I was in the GT about 3:00 pm and the AC was cold and comfortable, exactly what I would have expected. Doesn't seem like an undersized AC issue for hot climates.

My 06 doesn't seem to cool as well as I think it should in slow (South Florida) traffic. Even on Max. I haven't taken it in yet, but my wife's 01 SuperCrew, and my old 88 Stang cool fine in the same conditions. When I had a Taurus Electric fan on the 88, it didn't cool as well in slow traffic. I wonder if maybe the fan isn't moving enough air. If they don't fix it, I may try a pusher in front.

The first thing to do is stick a thermometer in a vent and see what temperature of the discharged air actually is.

The week end of May 6th I was cruising around, and I thought that the air didn't seem real cold on my stang. This last weekend it was much hotter, and we took a run from the Northwest to Boulder City and back, and it seemed like the air done ok. It still doesn't seem like my Ranger though. That thing will freeze you out in the middle of July.
