Default Shutter in First Gear

Ok guys... My GT has developed a problem and I kept hoping it would go away, but it hasn't. When I dirve it and let the clutch out to get moving from a stop(1st gear) there is a shutter I can feel and kind of hear in the drivetrain. Its only slightly still there in 2nd. Though I dotn know what started it... there were no significant events that I can think o fthat happened in any time near the beginning of this. I think its be going on for 2 weeks now.

Any Idea wha tit could be?

Reminds me of a 'glazed' clutch, that is there are hot spots on the flywheel or pressure plate

Hot spots that come and go and are there when you first move the car?

What can you do to be sure or eliminate this as a possibility and how do you fix it?

You have to pull the tranny and inspect, then if you see the 'hot' spots you have to resurface(flywheel) or replace the pressure plate and disc...............

WEll I know they were torqued to spec when we installed them, but no I havent re-checked them to see if they are loose.

THough this is not just a vibration that has been there since the install. This is somethign that came up 2 months after the installation.

I will check this evening to se if they are lose or not.

Funny thing is that it doesn't do it all the time. It seems to depend on if it does it when I first move it does it for the reest of the trip and if not sometimes I make a whole trip without it....

Scott I had to sell my Bronco so I am down to one car that I have to drive all the time (my mustang) that is why I havent been to see ya to get my gears yet. I put the headers on myself :thumbsup
