Default Need Fitment Explanation

I love the look of my 20's but the low side wall is killing me for traction in everything except bright sunshine. I understand the principles of speedometer changes associated with bigger tires. I don't get the braking issue. If I went to a 45 series in the rear vs 35 and used my custom tune to recalibrate the speedometer have I fixed the problem? Will I also get a NOTICIBLE difference in performance? I wonder if there would be any clearance issues?

I was having traction problems too, and i think we have the same wheels. I am using the BFGs KDWS and they are not the best tire out there. What helped me at the race track was to run 20 lbs in the rear, and i hit 13.92 in the 1/4 with 20s. Thats pretty good for having big heavy wheels on. I am going to borrow some drag radials next time and see what kind of times i do.
