My side mirror on the drivers side is beginning to haze over. The passenger side is clear as fresh water.

Has anyone experienced this? I would like to know what to do to clear it up. I tried a glass cleaner, but it didn't work.

There is no fix, replace under warranty.
Haze develops through oxigen and moisture getting in between the layers of the mirror. Just as haze can develop in some cheap bathroom mirrors.

Try rubbing alcohol or pure ammonia. Use an old newspaper instead of a rag.

Yep my first warranty will be both my mirrors. The salesman I bought it from already knows about them. They both have scratches galore on them. Almost like it was bad glass or something. I mean they are real bad. I am always very careful cleaning glass. Dunno what went up with these.

I took my car to the dealer for the mirror and the gas tank. They determined the mirror had clear coat on it; it has been cleaned and looks good as new.

Still waiting for my ride while they "research" the fuel tank issue.
