Yes, I removed paint. But not OEM paint, touch-up paint.
Repairing scratches involves putting some touch-up paint at one end of the scratch and smearing it into the scratch with your finger or a plastic card that comes with the Langka kit. It doesn't matter if you smear the touch-up paint all over the clear coat because you're going to remove it with the blob remover without any damage to the OEM finish.
Larger chips are filled with touch-up paint and allowed to dry. if the paint shrinks as it dries and the chip is still depressed, give it a second or third coat. When you're done and you have an elevated blob, use the blob remover.

Like I said, I'm very happy with the product on my two week old blob. Tomorrow I'll be removing blobs from some chips that were deeper and had to be filled in more.
