+1! Very good write up on lowering.

This IntelliTXT stuff sucks.

Im sure you've been told in the past that your a real wise a$$. So why dont you crawl back into whatever dark hole you came out of, take your depression medication, and come back in the morning. And btw- try using spell check once in a while so you dont seem so dumb.
Oh my. I have been put in my place by the big impressive New Yorker. I shall run for cover and hide in shame because the big bad man on the internet scolded me for having a differing opinion of what people do to their cars. And he even called me a name! However will I sleep at night.....

Listen up scooter... If you don't want opinions don't post pictures of your crap asking what people think about it.

For the money I don't think there is a better kit. I have had the FRPP kit for about 6 months and love it. I will tell you this, it was a little stiff for the first 1000 miles but it has since become looser. Everyday life is fine now.

Sounds like this thread has gotten a little out of control, kind of makes it fun for some I guess.

For what it is worth Pix knows his suspension stuff and will probably recommend that you go with Eibach springs and D-spec adjustables. This isn't a bad way to go either, but on the road course the FRPP kit will take it down. Plus you get the cool looking strut brace. This brace is really more for looks than performance.

Don't get me wrong though, you can build a much better suspension setup than the FRPP kit but for the money it is pretty dam good. As a matter of fact you can build a better supspension with the D-specs and eibachs but it will cost you.

At the end of the day, everything is a trade off.

Hi 05gtcb,

Is this message addressed to me? If so I'm involved with a couple of L.A. area based web-clubs, the Sunday Starbucks gang and the SoCal Horse Power club. Both are fun but very different groups.

BTW, I used to be into various things pre-ban and had a few H&K weapons, an SP89 and a 93. When you get here send us a post and tell us where you've settled. Maybe at one of the meets we can get together and talk about firearms.

Cheers

Do you belong to any mustang clubs in Cali?

I ask because Im moving out there in August.

I am by no means a motor head and that is my problem, im still learning.(I used to be a SWAT cop, unfortunatly I cant start a conversation with "so do you prefer the MP5 or the M4 as your primary?" to most people!
I have posted on two other sites getting opinions and just like everything else, everybody has a different one.
I do know I want to get a Saleen S/C because its a good name and the throtle body is in the same place so I wont have to get rid of my CAI.
Anyway, I have resigned myself to the fact that im just going to have to wait till i get to San Diego and join a club there in order to get behind the wheel of some other modded stangs and see what I think myself (that and my wife gets sick of me talking about cars all the time, gotta find car guys to hang with!)

thanks again for the info!

sounds good pix, thanks.
i still have some toys left over, a HK USP 45 and my LE model Bushmaster AR-15 (to name a few).

right now i think we will be in Mission Valley? My wife found a place there online. reletively close to the navy base for both of us.

I would have joined a group here but half the time Ive been mobilized in the reserves, the other half been going to school still.

look forward to it.
