good info. i am thinking about getting the FRPP package as well but wasnt sure if the price was justified or not. Didnt want to pay $1100 for a name.
So for everyday driving you do not recomend the FRRP stuff? |
For the money I don't think there is a better kit. I have had the FRPP kit for about 6 months and love it. I will tell you this, it was a little stiff for the first 1000 miles but it has since become looser. Everyday life is fine now.
Sounds like this thread has gotten a little out of control, kind of makes it fun for some I guess.
For what it is worth Pix knows his suspension stuff and will probably recommend that you go with Eibach springs and D-spec adjustables. This isn't a bad way to go either, but on the road course the FRPP kit will take it down. Plus you get the cool looking strut brace. This brace is really more for looks than performance.
Don't get me wrong though, you can build a much better suspension setup than the FRPP kit but for the money it is pretty dam good. As a matter of fact you can build a better supspension with the D-specs and eibachs but it will cost you.
At the end of the day, everything is a trade off.
