Exclamation Help! Oil Pressure & Battery Gauge Running High

Hi, All - Probl'y my fault for not paying closer attention, lately, but -
Yesterday, on my way home from work, I noticed that my oil pressure and battery gauges are running a few tads higher that the mid-point. No fluctuation in them. Again, this morning, same thing. I don't recall seeing this previously, over the past few months. My question is whether anyone else has noticed this with their car, and whether this is a normal thing for the GT's.
If not, do I just take it in to the dealer? Still have about 1K miles to go until the next oil change is due.

Thanks bunches!

Rocket

That is in the normal area, the gauges are basically "dumb" gauges. They are not that accurate.

Thats why i stuck aftermarket guages on my car, the stock ones are so inacurate when it comes to Oil pres and Water. I have a oil temp guage also, you wouldnt belive how hot your oil gets when pulling in 4th gear up a steep grade doing 90.

Since you have real gauges, on a cold start in the morning how many miles does it take for the oil to come up to normal operating temp? Which heats up quicker, the oil or the water, or do they rise at the same rate?

Oil temps take a while to warm up, i think about 10 mins, water warms up pretty quick, and when its a 100+ outside, its instant! When i see m y oil temps rise, then i know i can romp on it! Oil presure is also fun to watch, when the car is cold it stays high...then when it warms up, it is on the lowerside and goes up and down with throttle response.
