So if you havent heard Carroll Shelby finally told those boys @ Ford how to do their job... If you have drove the new Stang in a manual you have noticed that your arm blocks the tach. Well Carol noticed that to and got Ford to switch the tach and speedo to different sides in the new GT500. So does anyone out there know if we will be able to swap out gauges or... is there an aftermarket one out there that already takes care of this problem?
please explain? how does your arm block the tach? its in the center of the steering wheel to the right, and the speedometer is on left. My arm is way of the right below on the shiftknob.?? i'm confused

huh?? Dont see how your arm blocks any of the gauges at all... unless you rest your arm on the steering wheel and block it intentinally......

You're correct. With the tach on the left side of the speedo, you're left arm blocks the visibilty of the tach. I noticed that when I took the car for a test drive. I really like the gauge set up on the GT500.
My arm doesn't block the tach and I have a manual... I'm not sure what you're talking about.
if you're left arm drives at 12 o'clock then it blocks the tach. I've had problems with that myself. I would've blown the motor if it wasn't for the kill switch

You probably shouldn't be driving with your arm at 12 o'clock anyway, more like 9 o'clock. If the airbag was to deploy you'd punch yourself in the face.

when you drive @ 12 it blocks it.... and when you have to spank someone off the line you need that tach... LOOKS like Zenmervolt must granny shift if you never drive your car hard enough look at the tach.... Plus when your @ 12 you have more control.... its an even distance to move to any side.
