GT06 no prob, KJ has recommened MD to me before for CAI & tune. I actually went with Fred at Evolutions for the CAI & tune.
Will MD have to put on their tune then after LTH & CATTED Mid install? I like what fred is doing with his tunes.

Thanks

Not necessarily. I'm sure if you make contact with Fred-EVO, he can send you some new tunes due to the LTH's. The one nice thing about MD, is being there in person, you get a dyno'd tune, which it's my understanding is the best tune you can get..it's tuned specifically to your car and that engine and accy's. i know when I had mine done by Ken Bjonnes at MD, he told me every engine is different, like snowflakes, no 2 are alike, therefore 1 std tune for all is ok, but not the best way to go. Also MD plays it a little conservative, by that I mean they will not push the limits of a tune to the max. They'll set it up to where you get increased hp, tq and performance, but without putting the engine in harms way. They take a personal approach to their work, treating their customers cars as if it were one of their own.

Howdy Neigbours!

Yea, MD has the best deal http://www.modulardepot.com/product_...roducts_id=229 The install is kinda pricey as it is time consuming... $4-500?

You do not HAVE TO tune if you go with the catted system. But if you have other mods AND your car is at one of the best tuners in the US's place... Dyno and all ready for her...

I had the JBAs and they were kinda tingy with the OR Kooks... Am back to stockers now and luvvin it! But Ken think they might be restricting the exhaust on my quite extreme car and we'll go back to the JBAs to see. (My exhaust gas temp is a bit hot according to the data logs and since the Kooks system is wide open and the mixture good (even safe/rich/cool) it may be the mufflers... first time we've heard of them being too restrictive if so...) GTS06 don't know who you talked to there but I'm guessing they were talking about my car/exhaust... maybe... just got the brand wrong...??

Has anyone thought about electric cutouts? You can be legal or illegal depending on how the wife treats you that day

What are you talking about? Could you please be more specific?

Alright another question about exhaust... if a persone buys long tube headers, will that person need the off road pipes(the part of the pipe that contains the No-Cat/Cat section). Or does long tube headers delete that part? Some one please explain.

Has anyone installed the new cams available? If they have do they make a noticable difference?

Most LT headers come with the headers, midpipes (off-road or catted) and the X or H. I don't know of any that hooks up to the stock system other than as above to the cat-backs...

I have no first hand info on the cams but what I hear is promising. I think in P&P heads with all the NA stuff we'll be looking at mid to high 300s!

Yea I have seen 4 different types of cam set-ups on RPMoutlet.com. Does anyone know another other performance websites for late model mustangs? If so please post them.

What I was wondering about the LT headers was that... do LT headers eliminate the down pipe created by shorty/equal(stock) length headers. I believe they do, but you must get O2 sensor extensions.

Also, IMCO just came out with a set of mufflers for 05-06 Mustang GT that sound nostalgic. Has anyone ever heard of IMCO? Are they any good?

What I am looking for on exhaust is VERY VERY raspy... rough idle and a deep tone. Any person with information about getting exhaust that sounds like this please post, I appreciate it. Thanks
