[quote=SportsPix]Hi Cdvision,

it works perfecly well if you are careful to install the adapter without over torquing the bolts and put a little grease on the bushings.

Sportspix,
Did you put threadlocker on the small bolt at the bottom of the shifter that is held on with a nut, also? The Saleen instructions mentioned only putting it on the Saleen-supplied bolt, so that is what I did. How much torque is too much? I didn't think I cranked on the bolts that hard, but moving from gear to gear definitely takes more force and concentration than before. The throw is dramatically shorter but shift motion has gone from pretty much one fluid effortless movement to a somewhat stiffer two-step notchy action.

Hey Guys, I have the tri-ax, and went back to the stock shifter cause of the noise. When I called steeda, they said that they had similar complaints, so they are now including an adaptor, that lets you use the stock plastic washers on the botttom of the shifter. They sent it to me no charge; I think it should make a BIG difference; as before it was metal on metal. Any thoughts??
