Question Thoughts on one piece carbon fiber driveshafts?

Hey all, looking to do some further upgrades, and wanted to know if anyone has had experience with using the one piece carbon fiber driveshaft from BMR...here's a link

http://www.rpmoutlet.com/05gtsuper.htm

can it make an actual seat of the pants difference?

It will mke a difference, but is it worth the price.... I doubt it. Modified Mustang mag did an artivle on them and the physics of why lighter driveshafts are better. Its a good read.

Yea very expensive for the everyday driver. I believe that for the everday driver it is not worth it. Now if you are racing your mustang at the track on weekends then I guess it would be a good upgrade. I dont know much about driveshafts but I would imagine that would be the general opinion.

You may want to also consider the aluminum driveshaft from PowerHouse. Not as expensive but should meet your needs.

By the way: Technically there is no true "one piece" shaft for the 05 since they all have a spline section that moves in and out as the suspension moves up and down through an arc. The real benefit is weight reduction and strength.
