Haven't purchased one yet, but that is one I am considering also. Let us know what you think of it (if you get one), and how the install went. Thanks.

I just bought the FRPP handling pack which includes the tower brace. It should arrive any day and I'll let you know what I think when I get it installed.

My uneducated guess is that it doesn't do much, especially on the S197 because it is so stiff to befin with. But it may do a little and looks OK do I'll put it in even though of all the parts in the FRPP handling kit, it's the one that meant the least to me.

I have 20" rims on my car and the ride is a little looser now. Looking to pick up a few parts that'll help with the handling. I'll also be geting some Tokico Shocks with Steeda Ultra Light Springs. We'll see how it goes.

I have one, mostly for looks since I didn't notice huge difference. Maybe a little stiffer at 50+ mph speeds at ramps etc tight turns. It was a snap to install, took about 5 minutes including finding the right socket... :thumbsup

I have one. As VeeKoo said, install took maybe 5 minutes total. I think this was a good mod. I can feel a difference in tight cornering at speed. I think if you are an auto-cross person, this is a good mod. On a daily driver, maybe worth while, maybe not. My car is a daily driver that sometimes hits the auto-cross (think cones in a parking lot...not pro level racing). I can feel it is there on the track...not so sure if I notice it on the street (except for highway ramps, tight corners, and u turns).

Most of my freeway ride is in curves and offramps, so I can feel the front end floating at aound 75 MPH. :thumbsup I'm going to try the shock/spring/tower strut combo to begin with. So, we'll see what happens.

I've had mine installed for a number of months now. Just for daily driving, I don't notice any huge improvements, but as stated, it definitely stiffens the front end at higher speeds. It is a very simple mod with no warranty worries. It looks cool under the hood too.

I got it with the FRPP kit back in January. It looks great but I don't really think it does anything.

I had a problem with one of the AC lines rubbing up against it. I took a piece of 3/4 inch rubber tubing and some zip ties. Solved the problem. Did anyone else have this with their strutt tower brace?

Thanks

5twenty, let me know what you think of the FRPP Handling Pack. Thinking of going that route as well and I'm curious as to whether additional parts are going to be needed, especially since the car will be lowered 1.5", which will alter some things.
