Has anyone resolved the clearance problem with the Steeda Tower Brace over the Midwest plenum cover? I have a chrome tower brace and it clears the plenum cover nicely. My wife bought me a Steeda
tower brace (part of the Steeda suspension pack) for Father's Day.
The only thing I can think of is maybe shortening the plenum cover by cutting an inch off of the bottom edge and adding small "L" shaped
brackets for the connection to the intake. Any ideas????
I like my chrome tower brace....but Kay had the Steeda tower brace powder coated to match my exterior. It looks great and I don't want to hurt her feelings.

I ruined a plenum cover with the Steeda billet strut bar as there is minimum clearance. I just put a new cover on and raised the bar by adding 3 stainless washers on each bolt before re attaching the strut bar. What Midwest needs to do to resolve this issue is get rid of the fins on the top of the cover as these add a lot of unnecessary height to the cover. Plus debris tends to build up between the fins.
