Default For those who have adjustable uppers

I was wondering some of your thoughts out there for those that really know what they are talking about and have experience with racing suspensions. A few questions:

When you adjusted your upper arm, what did you set the pinion angle at........I am just about at 1 degree(nose down) to get me approximately to flat under load.

Does anyone know what the stock pinion angle is?

I have been getting a high pitched humming noise at 60 mph since i changed the pinion angle.....and guesses as to what is causing this or if its normal?

I believe a 1-3 degree is what is recommended for racing. Are you sure you are measuring it right? Its is the change or delta of the driveshaft angle and the snub angle, not just the snub angle. I have played with a lot of different combinations and it really didnt make that big of a difference.

This is from a previous thread I posted: Search pinion angle

I recently purchased the BMR's adj. lower arms as well as the weld in relocation brackets. I understand that by doing this ultimately your changing the instant center of the car. Currently I have my lower arms adj to the stock length and plan on adj them at the track while logging my 60' times. Does anyone have a good length these should be adjusted to? I believe what it is doing is changing the pinion angle to slightly negative (pointing down) so that in theory, under acceleration the pinion should rotate upward ultimately lining up the pinion to zero degrees, maximizing efficency and use of power.
A neg. 1.5 degree pinion angle has been suggested. I hope to be able to dial the car in even better and lower my current 60' times of 1.70' to 1.50's. Any articles or opinions on adj. an adjustable 3-link
suspension would be appreciated. Thanks

i have heard many ways of measuring the pinion angle. I am used to just measuring the differential itself and knowing if my pinion is +1 or -2 or whatever... but now with the driveshaft at 3 degrees (rear being lower) im thinking i need to rework my pinion angle. I have reset the pinion to where it was stock which using my method of measuring the differential was approximately 0 almost 1 degree nose up.

What I usually do is measure the snub on the diff. using an angle finder. Than I measure the angle on the driveshaft, subtract those two and that will give you the your pinion angle.
