So i have a weird whinning/squeling noise when makeing turns at slow speeds. This isnt my real problem(yes it is since its a 06).. My problem which is more of a question is when having warranty work done and it takes longer then one day shouldnt the dealership give me a rental car for free if they need to keep the car??

I complained of a squelling noise when turning, they told me that the parts would be in tomorrow and they need the car for another day, i said sure where do i pick up my rental they said thatll be X amount of dollars, i said excuse me this is a brand new 06 with 5K miles this is waranty work they informed me that ford does not cover rental cars.. Has anyone heard of this?? Is this a true statement?? My other cars which where toyota, honda and dodge they always gave me a rental car for warranty work with no charge. Thanks for any info

No rental car dude. I've been through it with my 05'. Maybe you can be re-imbursed if you rent the car but Ford wont provide you with one. And thats only if its covered under your insurance policy.

The dealership had my car for over 2 weeks troubleshooting by changing parts, at the end of the first week they got tired of seeing and hearing from me so they finally gave me a rental. They have good roadside assistance but no where in the warranty does it say you get a rental for the time your car is down and only the best ford dealership will consider giving you one.

Ever sense I put a CAI and a tune in my car I have noticed a squealing noise coming from the back side of the car also... but I think it's just my tires breaking loose all the time

If you have a K & N CAI make sure that the hole is drilled out between the intake tube and the engine manifold. If its not drilled all the way through you will here a squeeling noise coming from the rear end. Its air getting in the through the rear seal.
