I have the best interior upgrade you can get. it took me a couple shops but i found the wood grain interior. it look sooo good.has that luxury interior with the hp feel. i love it.and i went to homedepot and put "allfordmustangs.com" in black letters on the back of my car. how cool is that? ill get pics as soon as i can.
wow guys...if i got wood grain interior id kick my own ass. ive seen pics of what it looks like.very bad.....aned had a 67' mustang and i wouldnt even put wood interior in that...all black leather...im sorry if i got ur hopes up...but seriously...wood interior.....who does that....wow...u guys r too nice...i was expecting to be banned from the website with an interior like that
Just look at the last thread that mentioned installing wood grain on a Mustang...the poor guy got flayed alive. what is worse, he was doing for his father who has a fondness for such. Thoguh I could never put woodgrain on a Stang, I do admire the guy for wanting to give his dad a gift.
A guy in the club did the whole "RETRO" thing. He changed all the emblems on the car to reflect the '68 model, put the corral on the front with the fog light bezels and put the chrome around the tail lights. He also put the rear and side window louvers on, got a black chin and rear factory spoiler and added woodgrain to the dash. It doesn't look bad but it's not my style. Here's a pic of his interior.

that dont irk me, as long as it isnt in a stang.. dont get me wrong, im not against woodgrain in a vehicle. in fact, my 06 f150 supercrew has woodgrain in it and i love it. what i am against is woodgrain in a mustang. its like putting a ricer wing on your mustang.... it just isnt right... actually, im not a big fan of the carbon fiber or billet in a stang either, but i would prefer that over wood. i think ford hit it perfect with the IUP and i dont plan on touching it. i had in the beginning an 05 roush sport with the roush carbon fiber. it was okay, but i like the IUP silver better. woodgrain to me says luxury vehicle, not pony car or muscle car. its better left in the caddys, lincolns and supernice trucks. and yes i know, stangs had it in the late sixties and into the seventies. people then also wore big afros, had peace signs around thier necks and had shagg carpet in thier house. doesnt mean we need to repeat the entire past when we retro a car...
