Need opinions. I have a GT satin silver. What color stripes you guys think. For some reason the black ones really don't appeal. Any pics of blue, red or yellow stripes on a satin silver? Thanks.

Have you looked at a dark graphite color?
If you don't prefer black the only colors that may work is blue or a shade of darker grey.
Good luck with your decision

I did some horse trading and traded my GT in for a Freestyle LTD.AWD for the Mrs. and she got me a new 06'V-6 Mustang w/Pony package. Its Satin silver.I'm thinking a dark silver metallalic stripe with the same metallic content as the stock color might look OK.Poco
I have a 2005 satin silver GT which will earn its stripes with the supercharger in the near future. I was thinking of ghost striping with a lighter.... maybe a slightly different hue silver. Duel stripes maybe 10 to 12 inches wide with a 1 to 1/2 ich gap. It will run full length from bumper to bumper. Wonder how it would look if you pin striped the edges of the stripes also? Got to go...got to mull this over
Thanks for the input. I had thought about ghost stripes as well

Blue or grey depending on the shade, and paint/clear will give you a certain ghost effect. Mine is Tungsten w/ dark grey stripes and from the side you can hardly notice it has stripes. But the farther you get when you walk around the car the more you notice the stripes. In my opinion paint is the ONLY way to go. With vinyl you'll always have a ridge that's in the way of wax and fades and chips. With paint what you'll have is a smooth glossy hood thats easy to wash and wax. Something you'll appreaciate when your driving and looking out over the hood.

Ok call me crazy but the wife and I are digging the new "burnt orange" (I call it) color of some new vehicles. I have a silver 05 also and was considering stripes. Just couldn't decide on a color then she said "hey that dark orange would look good as stripes" I agree
I think Burnt Orange would really turn heads, talk about different.
After all, that's the reason we personlize our Mustangs, so they won't all look the same.
Go for it, a 'wise man' once told me "Devil hates a coward"!
Remember PAINT not vinyl!
