Default A couple of mods I'm considering

I'm really leaning toward the Meziere electric water pump but wanted to see if anyone had installed one yet. I have several friends who have successfully applied to GMs.

Also, the Canton Racing Windage Tray Kit really caught my eye. Thoughts on either product? If I do both, looks like an easy 20 or so rwhp.

I have the pump and it works great. I don't think there is much power in it though. I have sen and heard of 2-8 RWHP, not counting the companies selling them...

I had mymy car dynoed with a C@L CAI, 4.10 gears....279 RWHP. Added the Steeda pulley and the Meziere EH2O pump and....292 RWHP. Dont think the water pump contributed that much HP. I bought it for the improved cooling.

With the Windage tray is'nt the factory pan baffeled to the point where there is very little problem with oil roping up on the crank? I have never seen the inards of a 4.6 oil pan and am certainly no mechanical guru by any stretch but I recall reading somewhere that it was'nt any significant issue with our cars.

I think that you have to consider that using an electric WP will eliminate load from its pulley but will increase the load on the Alt. pulley. maybe not quite as much but I wouldnt expect much performance gain.
