Default Different Strut Mounts on 2007 GT's?

I have hear that the stut mounts for the 2007 GT's are different. How so? I have a 2007 GT Vert on order, and will probably therefore get a STB. Will the STB's for the 2005-2006 work if the 2007's are different? I also have the Ford Plenum cover on order as well, so I will need one that not only fits the 2007, but also fits over the cover. Anybody got any ideas or recommendations? Thanks in advance for your input.

I put a dent into my forehead crawling from the bottom of a black '07 GT four hours ago at Kirkland Ford. The front strut tower mounts are different. 20" wheels and 35 profile BF Goodrich's. The rear had both stabilizer and anti-sway. I am thinking Duratec 2 ignition/emission, but no one at the dealership could confirm nor deny. Ford also sealed the engine hood so there is no convection cooling/top end airflow. A USB port in the center console for your iPod. Two new colors. Same HP, LBS, MPH.

They ain't movin' on the sticker price.

So how are the strut mounts different? Any specifics?

Thanks, and hope your dent heals.

So let me understand this. When compared to an 06, The strut mounts are different up front. The rear end has some type of different sway bar arrangment, and the hood has different seals.

Could you elaborate a bit more?

Thanks
