You'd prolly wanna tune it for a late delivery as you won't need it of the line. Have not driven an auto GT so I don't know how 'long' 2nd is but I'm guessing that from 2nd-4th you could get a hell of a ride with N2O! With good tires, 4.10s and a 75 shot I'm thinking mid to low 12s?

Maybe next Saturday... My interview is this thursday in NY so I'm hard in the books... that's why these pages look like they do... PS. I'm pretty slick on high alt ops, sweeped thin wings aero etc. right now if you need a lesson...

I'll post for all you Cinci and around guys closer to next weekend if I'm going. Would be cool to have all the AFM guys there... not that I'm expecting great runs (testing) but it would be cool to be a 'group'...

Now back to auto/4.10s/N2O/strip...

psfracer is a member of this forum but is on vacation so I'll speak for him. He has that exact setup, N20, 4.10s, auto, etc. He runs low-mid 12s.

I have a TCI 3000 stall converter and spray a 100 shot right off the line with no problems. Any more than the 100 shot and the MT 275/50 15 Drag radials will break loose. I'll be running Hoosier 275/60 15's this Friday to see if I can get an 11.50 time slip.

I spray it right off the line to take advantage of the torque nitrous makes at lower RPM's. I also shift at 6000 RPM's again to take advantage of the torque. If you've ever seen a dyno chart of a nitrous motor you'll see that the torque peak is at the initial hit of the nitrous then the torque drops off. By shifting earlier than you would a N/A or boosted motor, this gives you more useable torque.
