Seriously getting ready to order low boost TS SC for my 2005 Mustang (stock engine, auto tranny). Looking for those who have the same, (success and bad outcome results). I hear alot of conterversey about the tunes provided with other SC's. I like the KB because it comes with a canned tune, and from what I understand if you get a dyno tune they void your warranty. Their website has a ton of info backing their tunes and research.
I will not increase from 5-6 psi boost until I upgrade the block, if I keep the car that long. I would like the motor to hold up for another 24,000 miles (about 2 years driving for me). I might go to the track once/twice a year. Car is daily driver and I would be happy with 400 RWHP. Only mod that I have now that would apply are loudmouths. Anyone have experience with this?

No experiense but wouldn't you rather void the warranty for the blower (IF they ever find out) than grenading the motor? KB provide the BAP right? That's IMHO better than the dual pump set-up, and of course much better than no fuel pressure upgrades!
See if you can't afford the cooled version for some safety. It can always be down pulleyed/tuned. Also get some HOs and coil-ons, again for safety.
You might need a stall converter too...?? It for sure would make it more fun... and some pease of mind... then you have that 2-pc driveshaft... as you can see it is a never ending story...

Their Canned tune is PERFECTLY safe IMO. I am running it on my 8 PSI intercooled setup. I had an 11:1-11.5:1 A/F ratio across the board. It is very rich, which is good on the stock motor, I don't want to push it.
Yes you do get a BAP.
I say also get the intercooled. But now with them shipping the 2.6L Blower they are not going to have 6 PSI Pulleys, I believe the smallest you can get is the 8 PSI (So IDK if their non-intercooled setup is still a 2.4L (I would go intercolled 8 PSI Personally). They told me when they shipped my 2.6L That They where not going to have 6 Lb pulleys as they would be so large (My 8Lb pulley is 4 Inches).
Just do everything they say on their site, it sounds like you ahve read it. (Who knows their product better than them, and who do you think would be best at tuning their prodcut.....them. For a canned tune it is really good. Get a custom tune when you get a built motor.)
I only changed plugs, Autolite HT0's gapped at the factory gap of .045, just as they instruct. I follwed everything they said to the T and haven't had 1 problem.
I just got mine on Thursday. Intercooled 8 psi. Where did you find the sparkplugs?
I live right down the street from Summit Racing and they said they didn't even have any plugs for the 05.
That's good A/F for a blown car! It is not KB! I'm just against canned tunes in general since most using them don't know their A/F... you checked it up so obviously you have been on the dyno, that's what I would do too. Why tune if it's not neccessary? Especially since it messes with the warranty... but check it up for safety!
I got my HOs from www.sparkplugs.com they also have a very good price on K&N performance oilfilters which IMO is amongst the best filter out there...

I got my HT0's from http://www.dagostinoracing.com/, give them a call they will probally give you a better price if you call and ask them about it. Tell them that I told you about them.
Yea I am convinced KB knows what they are doing tuning wise... THese other companys I am not so sure I would run their canned tune. I am sure I could get more HP out of the tune with a custom one, but I don't want to push it powerwise anyway till I get a built bottom end.
A canned tune is a... canned tune... not for your car specificly! All cars are different, over 15 HP different stock on occation. Not saying that power is good or bad just that not even Ford make a perfect identical product. Then you have climate, wather, altitude etc. A (safe) tune made at sealevel will not be safe on a car driven in the Rockies and vv....
Where ever I drive, whoever made the tune I'd check it up. It is a huge differance in cars and climate, density, etc.
