Default adding alarm, What did you spend?

My mustang didn't come with the alarm so I called the dealer I bought the car from to price having it added. $485 is what they said. I thought this sounded high. I was wondering if anyone else has added an alarm and what did you spend?

Thanks!

Wow, I didn't know it was that much to have one installed after-the-fact!

Not trying to hijack the thread or anything, but, while we are on the subject, would you guys and gals go with a Ford OE-style alarm or would you go aftermarket?

(I'm in the market also...)
