I'm shopping for some new wheels and was looking at getting some 19" rims. I plan on pairing them up with some Eibach Pro springs and Tokico Dspecs so the ride doesn't kill any one in the car. Does any one have a similar set up or any advice in general about puttin bigger rims on the new mustang. I kinda want to fill the wheel well a little more with these rims. I also plan on supercharging in the very near future, would that affect me? What size tires is the supercharged crowd running anyways.

I almost regret 19s, 18s would have provided a much better ride I have later learned... it looks nice though. I really need some D-specs but can't justify/afford it now...
I'm running 275/19/35 all around. This way I can rotate them. The front ones just barely touched the soft inside of the wheelwells at full deflection at first. Only noticed it standing still, checking it out....
I am blown making +560 to the rears and the wheels does not matter that much, I can get on it with good grip by easing in to it. I have 17" ETs on cheapo rims for the track...

I have 20" wheels with the Saleen (Eibach Pro) suspension...no problems. Ride qulaity is fine. Definitely fills up the wheel wells. Wheels came with car, I probably would have gone 18" had I bought the wheels seperate from the car. But I must admit..the 20's do look good.
Getting bigger wheels isn't going to fill the wheel wells anymore than the stock wheels & tires.
Unless you plan on getting tires that have a larger diameter (which would require you to recalibrate your speedo) the gap between the tire and the fender will be the same.
The wheel may be bigger, but the hieght of the sidewall will get smaller.
I thought he wanted more rim and less rubber... but in all you have a valid point... most try to be between 26-27" over all hight to keep speedo, tranny and rear end close to OM spec/rotations...
Lowering springs will do the trick!

Yes. That's right. I thought that's what I said. When I mentioned getting larger diameter tires, I was refering to filling the well. That's the only way to do it other than lowering the car or doing extensive body work. Sorry if I wasn't clear.
Again, to fill the well you'd have to upsize to above OM size, not the way to go. You'd have to go frigging humungous to fill the wheel well, remember what fills up also adds down and you'll heighten your car...
Get the rims you want and the tires you want trying to stay OM over all size and the add some lowering springs.... that's the only way to do this 'properly'.

I have 20's for the street which look great and fill up the wheel well nicely. However, if you plan on taking the car to the track make sure you keep the stock rims and get some DR's. I made one pass with the 20's just to see the difference. I felt like I launched fairly well and ran a 13.0 flat. I have a set of slicks for the track and have run a best of 12.38, big difference. 434 rwhp 417 tq.

I was told by my Goodyear dealer that going more than 1/2" over the stock tire diameter can not only affect the items mentioned above, but it can adversely affect the anit-lock brake system since the rotational speed and torque change with the outside diameter of the tire. Even though speedo can be recalibrated with a handheld tuner, the ABS can not.
Agreed; the way to fill the wheel wells is lowering springs. You can change the wheel to tire sidewall profile ratio with wheel size, but should stay near stock tire height.
