Default HELP: trouble with diablosport

I installed my diablosport on my 06 Gt yesterday. I installed it with the performance tune and when i unpluged the diablosport and went to start the car the car would not turn over it sounded like it was sputtering for fuel or air, i didn't try for long once i heard it i stop edafter about 2 or 3 seconds and then tried it again for about 2 seconds the car wouldn't start. so i pluged the diablo back in and put the stock tune back in and when i went to start the car the car made the same sound again but maybe it was for a second or a second and a half then the car started and then i shut the car off and turned it back on several times and it never did it again. i'm going to try and start the car this morning once i take it off the lift and ill let you guys know what happens( its jsut on a lift becuse of storage issue's)

Strange reaction. Has it been driven much right before loading the tune, or has it been parked right up until you plugged in the tuner? these tuners require the system to have good solid voltage all the way through the process. If it's been sitting, the capacity may be down a little. I've also heard of tunes having a minor glitch and just not loading correctly once in a while. You might try putting some miles on it so the electrical is well charged and reloading the tune.

Let us know what happens.

GL!

Did you get your DiabloSport new or used? If it's new, call DiabloSport. If it's used, it's possible that the performance tune was altered by the previous owner??

Although, this would not explain the problem with your stock tune...

Another possibility: Did you accidentally hit the fuel system turn-off button that is located near the OBD port?

Did you install a CAI? I didn't think you could just put in a tune w/o one.

DiabloSport's manual says that the performance tune is for a stock or slightly modified engine. I know that when I put in the performance tune with no other modifications, the car ran very well- it was a signiificant improvement in performance and driveability. Just my 02.

Diablo apparently gave you the wrong tune for your car...

Call 'em back and have them re-order the Diable tuner for your specific car and application...

I got mine from Steeda because it is tuned using a Steeda CAI...

There are other tunes specifically written for your application...

Think it through... Dave

Maybe you got a Diablo tune for a Mustang V6???

When I start mine, it says "Steeda" and then goes through the process of tune selection...

It does not say Mustang anywhere!!!
