I got a ride in an otherwise stock GT that had this suspension kit. The owner claimed a modest 1" drop all the way around, though I can't find mention of lowering on the Saleen site. I was hugely impressed by the ride quality, he drove over a railroad crossing at 45 mph, no way I could do that with my stock suspension without knocking my teeth into the roof of my mouth. Then he suprised me with a 90 degree turn at 45 mph and the thing seemed glued to the ground. It seemed great to me, although I've been driving the stock suspension for so long that any impreovement would seem awsome to me, so I'm a bad judge.
This kit can be had installed for around $1100 - considering the fact that I'm looking for only modest lowering, and a dramatic improvement in handling, my questions are, is this a good kit? and, can anyone confirm the amount of lowering?

Thanks in advance!
I have the full Saleen suspension kit. My drop is more than an inch all around. The Saleen springs are the Eibach Pro Kit. The ride quality is sweet. Yes, I can take a 90 degree turn at much higher speeds. With the entire kit, the car feels like it is on rails. Plus with my 20" wheels, gives it a great stance. You be the judge.
The Eibach Pro kit in that Saleen suspension is a good quality, popular choice for springs. There are several other choices which you can easily find in other threads. Some may be better for your needs than others. $1100 seems very expensive to me since spring sets sell for a couple hundred dollars. Most people install their own, but one does need a spring compressor to change the front springs. Also, be aware that the Saleen had other suspension modifications to improve cornering which you may want to consider. I seams to me that you want improved handling/cornering from your car.
Please be aware that there are also suspension performance modifications which improve straight line acceleration. That would not be what you want for cornering.

The Saleen kit runs about $800 plus about $100 for shipping and tax. I had to have it installed by a proffesional, which cost me about $300. Just note, the kit includes the Eibach Pro Kit springs, shocks/struts, front sway bar and bushings. I also added a rear sway bar and panhard bar (all part fo the $300 installation fee).
Your car's one of the nicest around! Always thought so, just never noticed you had the saleen kit.
Just curious if you tried the base kit and then needed the rear sway and panhard bar, or just wanted to 'go all the way' right up front.
Thanks for your input!
Thank you for the compliment, I have worked hard to get her where I want it, plus I am not done with her.
As for the suspension kit, yes, I just went for it all at once. I am not exactly the mechanically inclined, so I figured it would be cheaper to do it all at once.
