LCA and UCA Install?

How hard is the UCA and LCA install? Can it be done without a lift and with some wrenches?

Not hard... Did mine with just jackstands in my garage. LCAs are really easy. 3rd link is a little tougher on your back but not impossible. Panhard rod and brace are easy as well.

No mech. here, but what are the lines that run between the LCA's? I never actually crawled under to see where they go. brakes? how do you remove the lines to put in the new LCA's?

Emergency brake lines. Need to disconnect at the wheel so you'll have to remove the wheel to install. Just zip tie to the new LCAs when done.

Thanks for that info. lost my steering in some nasty offshore weather yesterday, so the boat will be taking any fun money for the moment.
