Default 06 GT - Diablo Sport Predator -- HELP!

To try to make a long story short. I have a 2006 Mustang GT (auto tranny).

I bought a Diablo Sport Predator form a local dealer and they had some settings they loaded into my car, but I'm not thrilled with what they did to the shifting of gears.. they lost the smoothness of the shifting to very rough shipping calling it a more responsive shifting.. which okay if I live with my gas pedal all the way down then it does shift nice but when you drive normally like I do most of the time it's really drives me crazy.

I've tried to get this adjusted but I'm giving up.

I noticed in the Predator there is a Modify Stock Settings... and what I'm thinking about doing is just making my own - leaving off whatever they did to make my tranny shift like it is in the early 80's..

I'm not planning on doing a CAI or exhaust system, just some tweaks to do 91 oct. etc.. can someome out give me some tips of what would be some good settings to adjust without going nuts in after market hardware?

Thanks for any responces.. I'm just starting to learn if you want something done right.. do it yourself..

I wouldn't adjust aything without:
1) a wideband Air/Fuel gauge. If you change your tuneand it runs too lean - pop go the pistons.
2) knowing exactly what you are doing. Why you are changing whatever parameter and what it will do.

Screwing around with your tune if you are not an expert if risky at best. Doing it without an air/fuel gauge (or, of course, a dyno) is, well, not smart at best.

Keep learning, get an A/F gauge, get a dyno tune if you can. Soon you'll be advancing your spark but you'll know you can't do it until you get some high octane gas.

K - I'm starting to think I'm not going to be adjusting timing without some help from someone that knows..

but which setting gets rid of the trottle lag? or do I have to have the software to do that?

Also i notice you can change the RPM it will shift gears, but only goes up to 6200... I'm assuming the Diablo Sport just has that limited to that number because that is the safe increase that will let you dab into red line but not do any possible damage?

I may have to get the software and pc cable to the predator and really learn this stuff. grin.. it's becoming additive..
